Trek

Trekking in Morocco: always in season, regardless of the time of year.

Morocco yields around 350 days of sun a year and has some of the most diverse landscapes you could possibly think of. Blessed with snow- covered ski resorts to majestic desert dunes, almond and olive trees orchards to gravel desert, lush palm groves to terraced Berber villages and unspoilt Atlantic beaches, weeping walls bordering natural creeks and bird reserves, it makes for a trekking paradise. And that can mean anything from a 2-hour walk around the palm grove of Skoura to a 6-day trek over the Anti Atlas mountains and gorges with a local guide, mules, tents and a cook.

The beauty with booking a private Morocco tour is you’ll be able to include trekking in more than one location along the way, depending on your level of fitness, interests and available time: Morocco hiking locations are virtually unlimited. Even if our 4×4’s can get deep into Morocco’s off- the- beaten- track territory, there is nothing like walking off the beaten track to immerse yourself into the local culture. For more on when, how, for how long, where you should trek and the likes, please read our article Morocco Trekking – the essentials.
