A great 2 day trek to complete if you are passing through Tafraoute. Start from Tagdicht at 1400 meters and climb up to Jebel Kest at 2360 meters altitude. Switchbacks, mountain herbs and a great overall grip on the rocky trail. With a bit of luck, catch sight of local mouflons. Spend the night at the top – basic refuge, siding a local saint tomb. Cistern water can be found on the peak. Next day descend onto Anamr and return to Tafraoute or travel to Ait Baha and Agadir. Here is the full story.
