Yes, Morocco has become popular. A far cry from decades ago, when only the audacious ventured. Itâs been widely covered by most travel magazines, travel influencers and traditional printed guides. Does that mean you have to settle for a generic Morocco itinerary ? Rub shoulders with hundreds of visitors ? Skim the surface ? Far from it.
At Sun Trails, weâve been crafting luxury Morocco tours and local experiences since 2009 from our offices in Marrakech. We revel in what makes Morocco unique. Visceral. Involving. We donât do drone reels and offices in London. Instead, every few months we jump in the 4Ă4 and set out to explore for things to do and see around Morocco. Try and test for ourselves so we can then offer these to our guests.
Some of it trickles into stories on our travel blog, dedicated to what makes Morocco unique. A special focus is given to accommodations â whether luxurious or just original, in Morocco they mold the entire private tour. But we donât just try and test the overnights, but also treks, eats, adventures, crafts and anything else truly Moroccan (sorry, no side-cars).
We sum them up and constantly update them. And carefully sprinkle your itinerary with those that best fit you. Does it all have to be rehearsed ? Certainly not. The spontaneous bits often end up the ones cherished most. Seamlessly connecting those dots: accommodations, experiences and sites in a way that best fits you. That and the attention to detail is what turned us into one of the best Morocco tour companies. But donât take our word for is. Browse through hundreds of reviews.
On one hand, we cater to the intrepid, adventurous traveler that loves to stray off the beaten track and immerse in the local culture. How ? Baking pie with the village ladies. Trekking with the shepherds. Mingle and bargain in a village market. For those that wish to travel in style, our Divine range caters to the most demanding tastes on our luxury Morocco tours. Or how about flying private to the Sahara or tour the galleries of Marrakech with a local artist ?
Over the last 16 years the approach has calibrated. The stays, locations and experiences we offer around Morocco on our tours are constantly updated based on our experience and our guestsâ feedback while on tour. The Morocco itineraries below range from 5 to 14 days and are mere starting points. They always end up tailored and refined to entirely match the traveler.
Weâll show you how a woman cooperative weaves the village life around it in Djebel Bani. Sample a French croissant for breakfast and glamp in a luxury desert camp in the remotest dunes of Chigaga, on one of our Morocco luxury tours. Guess what ? You can even change the day schedule of your luxury Morocco Tours on the day itself. But ultimately, itâs the people.
The people of Morocco make Morocco worth visiting. And letâs start with our team: Daoud, Abdel, Mustapha, Amine, Leila. Over the years, we toured more than a few routes together, got lost and shared many iftars, disillusions and laughs. Ultimately, any one of them is the link between you, the visitor, and the locals. Immersing you in the local culture. Making that difference.
And to all those encounters along the way. Farida, uncovering the secrets of Fesâs medina. The ladies proud of reviving their village cooperative. The locals restoring their century old agadirs all over Moroccoâs south. Ahmed sharing his knowledge of the local flora on the slopes of the Anti Atlas. In a post- pandemic and climate- challenged world, it makes us proud to be able to value local communities and social projects. But this is hardly a one way street: you, the visitor will come out beguiled, moved, richer. You touring Morocco with Sun Trails, makes it possible for these communities to continue preserving what makes them unique. What makes Morocco unique.

Travelers Reviews for Our morocco luxury tours
I want to tell you that Amine was just amazing! He could not have been more thoughtful, kind, or helpful! He was personable, always positive, and fun to chat with during our many hours together in the car. It goes without saying that we always felt safe in the car with him driving whether through the hairpin turns of the mountains or the heavy city traffic. He was also patient to answer my endless questions about the people, places, culture, religion, economy, and many other topics I was curious to learn about! I appreciated that he was flexible and adjusted things as we went to accommodate our preferences.
Linda Thompson reviewing Lost Kingdoms
We wouldn't change anything about our morocco luxury tours. It is definitely a lot of driving, but we wanted to accomplish a trip to the desert in a short amount of time. What we saw was absolutely spectacular and Oualid took excellent care of us. He adapted happily when we wanted to change things up and suggested things to keep 3 teenagers happy. In fact, it was perfect having him with the family and he made the trip for our children. They loved learning from him and having someone other than their parents to interact with. Thank you for everything !!
